    • Thanks Rosie. These nightmarish prisons, (some of them pre-date the Soviet era) capture the imagination. There like something straight out of an Orwell novel. Savchenko is tough, they’ve had her more than a year now‚ it’s all a sham.

      • I think it’s great that you’re able to portray political topics so successfully. I would love to be more overtly political in my work but can’t seem to achieve it. I love the work of Peter Paul Piech and the political printmaking of the Spanish Civil War era and the Paris May 1968 riots but can’t seem to reflect it in my own work. Bring on the politics I say 😀
