This is Scott Jones, a talented musician from Nova Scotia. A true survivor, who has shown remarkable personal strength, and courage, during his recovery from a vicious knife attack. Scott was targeted for being gay, and the attack left him paralyzed from the waist down. Scott has since become a gay rights advocate, fundraiser, and public speaker. In this portrait I tried to convey the sheer positivity Scott radiates. Here is a link to Don’t Be Afraid an awareness campaign against homophobia.
